A Review of the Sponsored One-Year Programme (OYP)


Dear Sir,

The sponsored one-year management programme (generally referred to as OYP) for the young executives in our sector was started at IRMA in 1991. One hundred and thirty (130) executives have so far completed the programme and are presently back in their sponsor organisations, carrying out such tasks and responsibilities as assigned to them by their respective employers. As the fourth batch of 58 executives is now approaching completion of the programme, it is felt appropriate that we be well apprised of how far the sponsoring organisations like yours have benefited from the venture so far.

The OYP was started with the objective of improving the managerial skills of executives who are already working in the cooperative sector. To enhance the relevance and efficacy of the programme in achieving its objective, you would agree that IRMA must make the OYP responsive to the expectations and experiences of the sponsoring organisations. It is with such an aim in mind that we are approaching you now for a ground-level feedback. Kindly spare the time to respond candidly to the queries raised here.
